INDIA WON THIRD TEST AGAINST SOUTH AFRICA BY 63 RUNS

India has beaten South Africa in Third Test by 63 Runs. The match was played at Johannesburg where the pitch was called one of the worst pitches with cracks. In the Final innings South Africa were to score 241 runs to win but their whole team could score only 177 runs. Elgar and Amla scored half centuries for South Africa with Elgar carried the bat thru the full innings and score 86 n.o. From India most shining bowler was Mohd.Shami who took 5 wickets and he was fully supported by Ishant and Bumrah with 2 wickets each.

Bhuvnesh Kumar was judged Man of the Match for his 30+ scores in both innings and 4 wickets in the match.

However India Lost the series by 2-1.
AUSTRALIAN OPEN 2018 FINAL RESULTS :

1.Roger Federer is Men's Singles Champion.

Federer beats M.Cilic 6-2,6-7,6-3,3-6,6-1.

This is 20th Grand Slam Singles Title for Roger Federer.

2. C. Wozniacki wins Women's Singles Title

Wozniacki wins 7-6,3-6,6-4 against S.Halep in Final.

3. In Women's Doubles T.Babos and K.Mladenovic beat E.Vesnina & E.Makarova by 6-4, 6-3 in final to win the championship.

4. O.Marah & M.Pavic are Men's Doubles Champion by beating R.Farah & J.Cabal in straight sets.

5. M.Pavic won his 2nd Title in this tournament by winning Mixed Doubles Final. He was partnering Dabrowaski and beat R.Bopanna and T.Babos by 2-6,6-4,11-9.

1.ROGER FEDERER ENTERS FINAL TO PLAY M. CILIC IN MEN'S SINGLES. THIS IS 30TH GRAND SLAM FINAL FOR ROGER FEDERER.

Federer has defeated Unseeded H.Chung by 6-1 & 5-2 when Chung retired hurt, whereas 6th Seed M.Cilic outplayed unseeded K.Edmund in straight sets 6-2,7-6 & 6-2.

2. TOP SEED S.HALEP TO PLAY SECOND SEED C.WOZNIACKI IN WOMEN'S SINGLES FINAL.

Wozniacki has beaten unseeded E.Mertens in straight sets but Halep has to play 3 hard fought sets to outclass A.Kerber with scoreline 6-3,4-6 & 9-7.

3. India's Rohan Bopanna who is playing Mixed Doubles partnering T. Babos has entered Final.

INDIA's Republic Day 2018: The 10 ASEAN Leaders To Be Chief Guests This Year


NEW DELHI:  In a first, the Republic Day parade in 2018 will be attended by 10 heads of state from ASEAN or Association of Southeast Asian Nations, a regional grouping of 10 Southeast Asian countries. In light of the presence of 10 chief guests at the Republic Day in Delhi, massive preparations have been made by 100-odd government agencies. Leaders from the 10 nations -- Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and Brunei -- will be present on a stage enclosed with a 100 feet wide bullet-proof glass. The chief guest at India's first Republic Day on January 26, 1950 was the President of Indonesia, and since then, five other Southeast Asian leaders have chief guests at the Republic Day parades.
Here are the ASEAN leaders who will be present at the Republic Day 2018 parade:
  1. 1. Joko Widodo, President of Indonesia since2014, is the first in his country without a high-ranking political or military background. Prior to becoming president, he served as the Governor of the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.
  2. 2. Lee Hsien Loong, the third can current Prime Minister of Singapore has been in office since 2004. Mr Lee is the eldest child of Singapore's first first Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew.
  3. 3. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister of Vietnam and member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Nguyen Xuan Phuc became the Prime Minister in 2016, at the 11th working session of the 13th National Assembly.
  4. 4. Dato Sri Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia was sworn into office in 2009. He is the eldest son of Abdul Razak Hussein, Malaysia's second Prime Minister and nephew of Hussein Onn, Malaysia's third Prime Minister.
  5. 5. General Prayut Chan-o-cha, a retired Royal Thai Army officer and current Prime Minister of Thailand, heads Thailand's military junta. He came to power after a military coup in 2014.
  6. 6. Aung San Suu Kyi, State Councillor of Myanmar serves as the country's de facto leader and has been in office since 2016. She was also the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1991.
  7. 7. Rodrigo Duterte is the President of Philippines, who took office in 2016. The 71-year-old is the oldest in his country to assume presidency.  
  8. 8. Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan of Brunei is also the first and current Prime Minister of Brunei. He acceded to the throne after the abdicatrion of his father Omar Ali Saifuddien III.
  9. 9. Thongloun Sisoulith, the Prime Minister of Laos, previously served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Laos, from 2001 to 2016. He was also the country's Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2006 to 2016.
  10. 10. Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia has been in office since 1985. He is Cambodia's longest serving head of government.
